(More customer reviews)I've gotta admit I really like these mattress protectors. They don't change the feel of our mattresses, nor cause overheating and sweating like our previous protectors.. They fit nicely on our low profile latex mattresses (which are slightly longer & skinnier than our regular mattresses) They also fit our thicker profile mattresses. They wash nicely and dry quickly. The kids spilled an entire glass of water in the center of one and none of it went through. (the top is completely water proof but the sides are not, so if water spills down the side it may or may not protect the mattress) either way they're a great buy! We are very satisfied with our purchase. We will be purchasing more mattress protectors and replacing our current pillow protectors with these as well.

The mattress store we purchased our beds from had these, but they were over $80 a piece, which seemed a bit much given we were buying 3 protectors. The material is nice and thin so you can't notice it's there and it doesn't make any noise. The terry is also nice. My daughters appear to have benefited from the protectors so far. We wash them about every two weeks to kill the dust mites and they fit the mattresses very well. We are very pleased with this purchase and wanted to share a review.

I am also very happy with how soft and comfortable this encasement is. I was worried it would be more like a plastic cover, but it only adds an extra layer of softness to our mattress. I don't have problems with allergies, but the first night we put it on, it was amazing how clean it felt sleeping on.
Now if only Protect-a-bed could lower their prices on crib encasements! It almost costs as much as the encasement we bought for our queen size mattress!

(More customer reviews)Purchased 2 including a king size for a master bedroom, and a twin for a 4-y-old childs new bed. They both fit well, plenty of room but not too much. Mine (the king) is very comfortable, don't even know it's there.
I was surprised (and nervous) though when I first opened the packages and saw how thin, and lightweight the covers are. I was terrified that if my son had an "accident" - which he hadn't had for several months - his new mattress would be a goner.
Well, the "unfortunate" has now happened twice for some reason and both times nothing went through. My husband took the linens off the bed both times (he gets up before me), so I didn't see either inicidence "initially" - but by the time I headed to the laundry I had to keep looking and looking and never saw signs of anything. Don't know WHERE it went. Have washed it 3x (including the 1st before use) - on cold, lightweight, and not overdrying because it is so lightweight I don't want to wear it out. But definitely amazing. And SO much better than the options out there in the department store which are 2x as much, bulky, and just plain uncomfortable to sleep on.

(More customer reviews)The Good: The fabric is definitely waterproof and does seem to control the allergens. The pillow protector is much better than the mattress protector because there are no seam issues or oversize issues with the pillow protector.
The Bad: The Queen size mattress encasement has a seam running across the width of the bed! That seam is uncomfortable to my hip lying on it after a period of time, and I am a normal to skinny size person. My cover developed a rip in this mid-cover seam area after only a couple months. Clean Rest asked me to send it back to them before I can get another one under the warranty. So now I have to buy something else for the time I'll be out a cover. Also, we have a 9" deep mattress. The Queen size fits up to 15" deep. The extra fabric wrinkles up underneath you eventually, even if you initially tucked it under the mattress. It's made in China.

(More customer reviews)I was very careful to put on the encasement as instructed. Even so,both my husband and I ended up with tiny holes in the base where the corner protectors are. The fabric is too fragile for the area it protects.
We taped up the corners with duct tape and prepared everything. We had to duct tape the holes which defeated the whole purpose of the protector. It is not worth the money. Find a product for the box spring that is tougher.

(More customer reviews)I bought this cover from the company, before Amazon had them in stock. I bought a new expensive memory foam mattress and felt a good waterproof cover is a worthy investment. Especially because I own a dog!
I was debating between this one and the popular Aller-Zip. Amazon reviews were better for the Luna product. I also wanted bedbug protection, as they are making a huge come back! Luna's website said their products were tested to be bedbug proof.
The item was shipped quickly and it comes with cleaning instructions. It did smell a bit like plastic, but I washed it with cold water on gentle cycle, along with some towels as recommended. Then, I dried it on low with the towels, to prevent the waterproof barrier from melting. The smell went away after washing. The cover was sheeting water when I pulled it out of the washer, so I think it would hold up against spills.
The cover is well constructed with professionally finished seams. The zipper is along 2 sides of the top and the teeth are finer than a normal zipper. It trapped some air when I was slipping it on, so I doubt any bed bugs can crawl through. The fabric isn't very thick and I was worried it would get damaged when I pulled it over the mattress. But it's pliable and surprisingly durable. The top part has a soft terry cloth texture.
No noticeable noise and it does NOT reflect heat. Also, Luna's customer service is excellent. I had a question about the product and e-mailed them. I had a reply the next business day! Another bonus - it's made in the USA. I'm very happy with the quality of this product and would purchase from them again.

(More customer reviews)These are standard glue traps for mice and insects, which is why bed bugs -- and anything else that touches the surface -- will be "instantly immobilized." They can be used either in box form (with the glue on the inside) or flat (with the glue on the top surface). They are only effective in trapping bed bugs if used flat under the bed legs with the glue surface exposed. These are advertised as pet safe. I can't imagine why. What do you think will happen if the cat walks on it?
Wouldn't have purchased these if they had been more clearly described.

I tested these when I got them and they do a great job of keeping water out. The terry cloth on top is actually soft and pleasant enough to rest on. The protector doesn't make plastic cracking sounds and feels very high quality. All in all I'm pretty satisfied.
The only problem is that the protected side is only the top of the mattress and not the sides. It doesn't fully encase the mattress with a zipper, so it's goes on and off just like a fitted sheet.
