Our two daughter have asthma and had been told that these may help. The mattress store we purchased our beds from had these, but they were over $80 a piece, which seemed a bit much given we were buying 3 protectors. The material is nice and thin so you can't notice it's there and it doesn't make any noise. The terry is also nice. My daughters appear to have benefited from the protectors so far. We wash them about every two weeks to kill the dust mites and they fit the mattresses very well. We are very pleased with this purchase and wanted to share a review.
