(More customer reviews)I didn't feel like spending an arm and a leg on mattress covers, so I bought these box spring covers.
The material is just like airplane pillows, but since I put them on mattresses there were no problems with tearing. They fit loosely on our twin mattresses, but it doesn't bother anybody, and I don't think I've heard any crinkly noises. They are soft enough.
As for whether they help with dust mites - I think so, but I'm using them in conjunction with dust mite pillow covers and my asthmatic kids have seemed to cough less.
